I remember visiting with Dorian when he was about six years old. He would come into the office with Cathy in the afternoon when she worked for Dunn Home Health. Dorian would sneak around the corner where the Social Workers sat and talk to me. I soon learned that what he really wanted was some of the candy out of my bottom desk drawer but he knew he had to tell me about his day before he got the candy. Dorian was a sweet little boy with a sparkle in his eye. I am so sorry to read about his death. I will keep you all in my prayers.

I am a friend of his dear mother's, and Dorian played ball at MHS with my stepson Jordan Brooks. "...And Jesus took his own hand and wiped away the tears, And he smoothed the furrows from his face, And the angels sang a little song, And Jesus rocked him in his arms, And kept a-saying: Take your rest, Take your rest. Weep not--weep not, He is not dead; He's resting in the bosom of Jesus." ~ James Weldon Johnson
