Just saying my great uncle Joe was a great man is an understatement.. I have so many memories of him. I didnt get to spend a lot of time with him, but the times I did, I'll never forget. I use to drive the old lawn mower around the yard here at my house. I would stop here and there all over the yard, put out my hand like a stop sign... My dad finally asked what I was doing... My reply, I'm picking up the kids and taking them to school... Just like my uncle Joe. Kids gave him a hard time but he was a great bus driver and a wonderful man. To all his immidate family members, I'm so very sorry for your loss. The world has lost a truely great man. I may never go to a tactor pull without tearing up cause every year I would get to see and talk to him. His smile was contagious and so was his laugh. Rest In Peace Uncle Joe.

My sincere condolences to all of Joe's family. Joe and Harry used to let me hang around and farm with them in the 1950's when they worked helping my grandfather Josiah Trueblood on his farm. They were hard workers and great people. I enjoyed reminiscing with Joe when ever I saw him. So very sorry for your loss.

I visited Fairview Church of Christ several months ago with Hilliard King. Bro. Tolbert and his wife were very kind to me and we talked and talked for a long time after services I felt like I had known him for a long time. Hilliard was very saddened when he heard the news. He said he was a great friend and will really miss him. I know the congregation will miss him dearly and as a widow myself, I know his wife will miss him dearly. Our prayer are with all of you during this difficult time.

I was lucky enough to have known Joe for most of my life. He was my neighbor and my bus driver for over 12 years. He was one of the kindest men I knew. My heart mourns his loss deeply. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. His loss will be felt deeply throughout the community for many years to come.

I went to school with Joe, Junior and Senior years, and graduated with him from Huron High School. Joe was a very nice guy and was always friendly every time I saw him. Sorry to know this untimely death happened.
