MITCHELL – Barbara Jean Slone, 68, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born March 31, 1946, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Alvin Andrews, Sr. and Betty (Hall) Stine.
Barbara had been a licensed practical nurse at Bedford Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Reverend Glenn Hamer officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
