BEDFORD – Bertha Buckley, 91, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born June 26, 1934, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Willie and Lara (White) Tolbert. She was married to Robert G. Buckley, and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2001.
Bertha was a homemaker and a member of Englewood Baptist Church. She was an excellent seamstress and did a lot of sewing, quilting and embroidery. Bertha enjoyed puzzles, playing solitaire card game, and bingo. She loved when her family came to visit her.
Survivors include her daughter, Lorna (Keith Terrel) of Bedford; grandchildren, Robin Roberts and Tim Baxter; great grandchildren, Audrianna Manning, Tasha Baxter, and Tyler Roberts; and nine great great grandchildren.
Her parents; husband; son, Kenneth Wayne Mundy; and siblings, Grace Bridges, Olive Bex, James Tolbert, William Tolbert, Oliver Tolbert, preceded her in death.
Cremation has been chosen.
