MITCHELL – Cynthia Leigh Thompson, 60, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, at her home.
Born March 11, 1961, in Sylacauga, Alabama, she was the daughter of James Ivy “Jim” and Marilyn (McCulley) Clifton. She married Michael Ray Thompson March 10, 1981.
Cindy had been employed in the office at Arthur Truck and Trailer Repair, and previously at Speedway and Hatfield Elementary School. She loved her grandchildren, children, sisters, absolute love of her life, her husband Mike, coffee, vintage camper, chocolate, eating dessert first, dancing, being a Girl Scout leader for Troop 03229, and her Sunday supper shenanigans. Cindy loved life. She was always smiling, always happy, always positive, and loved making people laugh. Cindy never met a stranger.
