MITCHELL – Elizabeth Ilene Knight, 55, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.

Born February 26, 1968, in Fort Hood, Texas, she was the daughter of William Samuel Sr. and Connie Sue (Helton) Edmonson.  Elizabeth married Thomas Wayne Knight on September 19, 1987 and he survives.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Wayne Knight of Mitchell; children, Jenessa Knight of Mitchell and James William (Erin) Knight of Scottsburg; grandchildren, Jacie Elizabeth Knight, Peyton Anthony Knight, Halie Rose Terrell, John Robbins, Jaystin Bowden, and Jaxon Terrell; siblings, William Samuel Edmonson, Jr., Jenelle Brooks, and Kenneth Tolbert; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents; sons, Sherman Wayne Knight and Joseph Lee Edward Knight; and siblings, Melissa Pemberton and James Ritchison, preceded her in death. 

Cremation has been chosen.
