I remember a very ginger little boy with the most penetrating auburn eyes. I remember Evan as a quiet kid, you would hardly notice him among the 13 cousins. Although he did not talk much, he always had something meaningful to say when he did speak up. I am sad that he is gone. I am sad that I did not make time to connect with my cousin. I’m sad that his parents lost another son, and that his siblings lost another brother. My deepest sympathy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. As I remember Evan, I was impressed by his attentiveness and sincere interest in others. He seemed to want to bring ease as he embraced a conversation with me. Details seemed to be his focus. He also seemed to care deeply for his family. My prayer is that Clinton, Chris and Evan are fishing with Mom and Dad. Monty and I love you.....
