KEARNEYSVILLE, WEST VIRGINIA – George Slone, 63, Kearneysville, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at the home of his son.
Born December 27, 1943, in Brinkley, Kentucky, he was the son of Joe and Alta (Mullins) Slone. He married Barbara Wells.
He was a supervisor for Hughes Electric Network and was of the Baptist Faith. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1962.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 25, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Reverend Glenn Hamer and Pastor Scott Chopas officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceport Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
