WILLIAMS – James Franklin Brewer, 66, Williams, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007, at his residence.
Born April 26, 1941, in Speedwell, Tennessee, he was the son of of Walter and Verda (Wilder) Brewer. He married Judy K. Turner June 9, 1963.
He had been employeed at General Motors, Otis Elevator and retired from UTC. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mitchell, the Mitchell Ministerial Association, Gideons International, and a volunteer chaplain at Dunn Memorial Hospital.

His parents; brothers, Walter Brewer, Jr., and Kenneth Brewer; and sister, Dorothy Jean Teeples, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Philip Whigham and Rev. Robert Kirkman officiating.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the service on Tuesday at the church.
