Born December 20, 1960, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Stevens) Burgess, Sr.

Jeona was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God.

    I am sure that you all will even remember me but I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I really liked her. She was like a mother figure to me at 16 because she was welcoming, loving and she never judged me.She always gave me a listening ear if I wanted to get something off my chest.
