MITCHELL – John B. Harrison, 82, Mitchell, passed away at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2005, at Bloomington.
Born June 2, 1923, in Jackson County, he was the son of Joe C. and Pauline (Cochran) Harrison. He married Frances B. Beasley August 7, 1943, and she survives.
He retired from Carpenter Body Works. He was a member of the Mitchell First Baptist Church and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1941. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. His hobbies included fishing and Recumbent Cycling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Charlotte Ann Harrison in September, 1950.
Private family services were held November 20, 2005, with Reverend Richard Tallman officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery.
