MITCHELL Juanita M. Pemberton, 80, passed away at 3:28 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born February 12, 1932 she was the daughter of Clayton and Helen (Bartlett) Tow. She married Winfred J. “Wink” Pemberton August 14, 1948, and he preceded her in death March 11, 1992.
She was a homemaker, wife, and mother. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, playing slot machines at the casinos, and traveling with her late husband, “Wink”. They had visited 47 of our 50 states. She was a member of the American Legion Gillen Post No. 33 Women’s Auxiliary.

Her father, Clayton Tow, mother, Helen Tow Johnson; husband; brother, Thomas C. Tow; sisters, Ola Ann Agan and Wanda Brock; and great granddaughter, Anna Fish preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Reverend Dwight Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. Monday, and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
