PAOLI – Ken Leon Grace, 57, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Paoli Health and Living Community.
Born January 21, 1966, in Waukegan, Illinois, he was the son of Kenneth Gene and Marilyn Rose (Taylor) Grace. Ken married Cynthia Lou Walther on September 12, 1999 and she preceded him in death July 2, 2009.
Ken was a 1984 graduate of Mitchell High School. He had worked for Harrison Fence installing fencing and siding. Ken greatly enjoyed fishing, collecting coins, stamps, completing jig-saw puzzles, and Nascar. He was of the Christian Faith.
Surviving are his children, Kayla (Ryan) Flynn of Paoli, Kenneth (Meagan) Grace of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Kenna (Adam) Robertson of Orleans, Dyllan Grace of Scottsburg, and Timothy (Paula) Ely of Mitchell; grandchildren, Alexis Flynn of Paoli, Sydney Flynn of Paoli, Ryley Flynn of Paoli, Raphael Grace of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Gabriel Grace of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Lamontika Robertson of Orleans, Dashawn Robertson of Orleans, Nadilyn Robertson of Orleans, Sylis Robertson of Orleans, Xavier Atchley of Scottsburg, and Macie Grace of Scottsburg; siblings, Richard (Tammy) Grace of Orleans and Shelly (Randy) Grace-Johnson of Orleans; and mother, Marilyn “Rose” Grace.
His father; wife; and step-son, Doug Ely, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, September 25, at Tunnelton Cemetery with Pastor Teresa Reynolds officiating. Burial to follow.
