SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS L. Duane Mundy, 49, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, at his residence.
Born October 26, 1960 in Greenville, Michigan, he was the son of Nelson and Donna (Houchin) Mundy.
Duane served 12 years in the U. S. Air Force in the contracting field. After leaving the U. S. Air Force, he entered Federal Service in 1993 and most recently worked as the director and contracting officer for the Department of Defense at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He enjoyed his job and the opportunity to travel internationally.

His father preceded him in death.
Duane was a loving father, brother, son, and friend, and will be missed.
Memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Bechtel officiating.
Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
