MITCHELL – Malissa Ann Ratliff, 48, passed away at 4:14 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2014, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.

Born October 4, 1966, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Raymond Alan Ratliff and Carolyn Ann (Roll) Knoy.

She had been employed at C & M Conveyor, Inc. and was also a nurse’s aide. Malissa enjoyed watching football, especially the Indianapolis Colts.

Surviving: mother, Carolyn Knoy, Mitchell
              stepfather, Jerry (Nita) Knoy, Mitchell
                 brothers, Scott (Penny) Ratliff, Mitchell
                               Jerry (Kathy) Knoy, Mitchell
                               several nieces and nephew

Her father and brother, Kevin Ratliff Knoy, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Dennis Alstott officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Missy will forever be missed and In our hearts !!! I will never forget the time Jessie and I took missy to her first NFl game to watch the colts play the Giants she was so excited and that day/night is something we will forever hold dear to our hearts!! I am so very sorry to hear of Missy's passing. I never had the chance to know her very well, but I will always remember her eating pickles with me and drinking the pickle juice from the jar at Grandma and Grandpa Ratliff's house. Rest in peace Missy, may you have no more suffering and pain and sore high above the clouds with the angels.
