MITCHELL – Patricia Sue Baker, 68, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford.

Born July 29, 1952, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Edward Lee and Gladys Marie (Adams) Asbury.  She married Raymond Harold Baker May 10, 2003, and he preceded her in death November 5, 2008.

Sue was a truck driver and a 1970 graduate of Mitchell High School.  Sue was a volunteer at Older Americans and the food bank.

Dana Wright, Christopher Dalton, and Emerson Wright

Her parents; husband; and brother, Thomas Lee Asbury,  preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

    Sue was a very very their friend and family Patricia Sue Baker had taken care of my kids when I was in a motorcycle wreck in the hospital and after I come home I love so dearly I will miss her but I will see her again when it comes my time love you Sue and we will miss you very very much

    Prayers for all family and friends! Sue was a true friend and a great classmate from 1970 MHS graduating class! Seen her in Walmart a couple of months ago and talked for about a hour catching up with her! So happy had that time with her! Fly High Sue see you one day again!
