SALEM – Pauline V. Dorsett, 88, Salem, formerly of Mitchell, passed away at 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at Meadow View Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.
Born November 2, 1916, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Fred and Nancy (Carter) Kinder. She married John Edward Dorsett October 26, 1935, and he preceded her in death November 1, 1997.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God in Mitchell.

Her parents; husband; daughter, Gloria Jean Dorsett; sisters, Katie Walton, Lelah Moore, Eileen Spurgeon; and brothers, Roy Kinder, Emil Kinder, Lawrence Kinder, and George Kinder preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Brother Mike Abbott officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
