Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear about Phil. He was a super person and I've thought about him often since Dr. Miller left the Bloomington office. Phil always made me laugh. Thoughts and prayers for you, the kids and grandkids. I know how much he loved you all.

The last day I was in Mitchell after laying great grandpa to rest and every one had made their ways home Uncle Phillip and I sat in the living room all day and just talked. He made the day pass fast with all the funny things he said. He even let me go home with a "3 piece chicken dinner" (: He laughed at my face every time I walked in the house because I had never experienced a place so cold. When I got back to Vegas I was telling my mom how much fun I had with Uncle Phillip. He made my first trip to Indiana since I was a little girl very memorable(:

I can remember being little, and one year at Christmas, Uncle Phillip literally gave me a box of rocks as a gift. The look on my face must've been priceless because I recall him laughing for a really long time. In recent years, my daughters also came to love Uncle Phillip and I will always remember his patience in showing them all the animals on the farm, sharing his garden harvest with us and even taking my daughter Lucy for a ride on his school bus. We will miss you Phillip!

I look forward to the county fair because I know I will get to spend time visiting with Phil and Cindy. We always pick up like we had just seen each other yesterday. He was always that easy to be around. I will miss him.
