I guess I knew Rick for the first time when we were about 8 yo at Riley School in Mitchell, IN. We had a few fights there. Rick just liked to fight and other boys put us up to it. Me and my brother Mark knew him through school and with other friends. Later we both worked for Engler Quality Construction digging trenches and laying underground TV cable , Rick was a foreman and I was on his crew. Rick was a good guy and a friend to many. I was fortunate to connect with Rick on FB later and have stayed friends for several years. I’m sorry to learn of his passing. I know Rick is in a better place now and we’ll all meet again. Prayers and condolences for Rick’s friends and family. I just stopped by to pay respects.

Rick was definitely 1 of a kind, I've known him a long time and he was definitely a helper to whomever may need it, my fondest memories are of him and Connie, they most definitely was 2 of the best and they broke the mold with them, I hope they're up there laughing and having a blast...along with my brother and my dad, I love each and every one of you and miss you so so much...fly high Rick right along with the others I'm sure they've been waiting. Prayers and thoughts for the family
