MITCHELL Robert E. “Sonny” Keynon 78, Mitchell, died at 11:54 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2010, at Bedford Regional Medical Center.
Born March 13, 1932, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Fred and Elizabeth (Pless) Keynon. He married Shirley Ann Fox December 26, 1965.
He was a truck driver for Moon Freight Lines, was a member of Spice Valley Baptist Church and attended Orleans Church of the Nazarene.

His parents; son, Winfred Allen Keynon; daughter, Lanette Reynolds; brothers, Bob Brown and Junior Mears; sisters, Magdeline Sallee, Betty Gaddis, Dorothy Caldwell, Sue Tincher, and Donna Haub; and 2 infant siblings preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, at Orleans Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jerry Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Spice Valley Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home and from 11:00 a.m. until the service at Orleans Church of the Nazarene.
