Lana, So sorry for your loss. I pray you and your family find comfort and peace in the beautiful hope of a forthcoming worldwide Paradise, where as Jesus foretold, we will once again embrace our resurrected loved ones to never lose them again. Keep hIs words as found in John 5:28, 29 close to your heart. There he says: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming, in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life..." For a short while Bob will be resting peacefully as Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10 lets us know and will soon awaken to a beautiful life in perfect health to reunite with family. May this wonderful hope keep you and family strong.

Best wishes to the Smith family from those of us who knew Bob, his brothers, sister and parents while they lived in Goshen, Indiana --- attending St. John's School and Goshen High School. Bob was two years ahead of me in school and I was a classmate of Phil. I remember Jan as a pretty good baseball and basketball players. I wrote sports at The Goshen News for 45 years and retired in July 2011. I put a notice on Facebook and several from Goshen have responded with memories of the Smiths. Hope you find strength during this difficult time. Best wishes from Goshen.

D'Andra, Lana, Daron and Family, You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. Bob was one of my very favorite Dads growing up. I loved his boundless energy and his ability to bend the rules just a bit. The word "no" was not in his vocabulary where the people he loved was concerned. He will be remembered with fondness and missed always. Much Love, Steph
