MITCHELL Roger Elwayne Tanksley, 77, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at White River Lodge in Bedford.
Born May 1, 1934, in Manchester, Kentucky, he was the son of Raleigh and Stella (Robinson) Tanksley, Jr.
He had been a security guard at Carpenter Body Works and had been employed as a truck driver. Roger was a member of LifePoint Christian Church and a U. S. Army veteran.

His parents; sisters, Shirley Jones and Joan Kitzero; and brother, Jimmy Tanksley, preceded him in death.
Cremation was chosen and graveside service will be at a later date in Hop Cemetery.
