Shirley was like a second mother to me. I was always over after school with her kids and on the weekends. I was so isolated at home on the farm. Being with her family brought me joy.

Mom, We will miss you so very much. We will always have you in our hearts, and thoughts. You taught us a lot throughout our life to help us become who we are and I thank you for that. I will miss you always. Say hi to everyone there for me.

Sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. She is free of all health problems now. Visited with her many times over the years. She was a good lady…
