MITCHELL – Tina Leah Tyree, 55, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019, at Indiana University Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born September 22, 1963, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mabel (Worley) Jones. She married Gregory Dean Tyree December 17, 1983.
Tina was owner and operator of Tina’s Back Porch Custom Primitive Crafts. She graduated in 1981 from Bedford-North Lawrence High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tina was also a member of American Legion Post No. 250 Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107 Auxiliary. Tina was a prolific creator of crafts and artwork. She loved to care for animals and took great pride in her yard. She had a giving spirit to those she cared for, especially veterans, and always looked forward to her next endeavor.

Her parents and siblings, Mark Jones and Susan Collier, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Will Ray and Lee Hupp officiating. Burial will be in Sheeks Cemetery. Adam Brown, Paul Brown, Jeremy Floerke, Terry Kirk, Lenny Pruett, Nick Tyree, Rob Tyree, and Donnie Zollman will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
