MITCHELL – Trevor Scott Guthrie, 55, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his residence.
Born June 16, 1970, in Orange County, he was the son of Sandra Kay (Guthrie) Lewis. The man he called his father, Fred Donald “Donnie” Lewis, preceded him in death.
Trevor was a 1988 graduate of Mitchell High School. He worked at Regal-Beloit and for Dana Incorporated. Trevor was always available as a handyman for friends and family. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Trevor was cherished by many family and friends.
Surviving are his children, Tyler Guthrie of Mitchell and Kyle Guthrie of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Vincent Guthrie, Jersey Guthrie, and Braxton Guthrie; mother, Sandra Kay Lewis of Mitchell; sister, Teesa Pastors Fitzpatrick of Washington State; step-brothers, Mark, Marty, and Jason; step-sister, Allison; special niece and nephew, Darby and Dillon; aunt, Connie Hill; family members, Mike (Donna) Guthrie, Jeff (Diana) Guthrie, and Steve (Teresa) Guthrie; several cousins; Gina Sullivan, who was part of the family for life; and his beloved dog and companion, Sadie.
Trevor was also preceded in death by his special grandparents, William and Mary Guthrie.
Cremation has been chosen. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
