MITCHELL – Wanda Lou Edwards, 83, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Mitchell Manor.

Born January 18, 1937, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Lloyd A. and Claribelle (Mundy) Terry.  She married Robert Wayne Edwards June 3, 1955, and he preceded her in death October 14, 2003.

Wanda retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center–Crane Division.  She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1955, and was a member of Tulip Street Christian Church, the Heavenly Hens Bible Study, and Fleur-de-Lis Club.  Wanda served three years as Marion Township Trustee.

Her parents, husband,  and daughter, L. Carol Jack, preceded her in death.

Family service was Monday, April 27, at Mitchell Cemetery. 

A celebration of life service will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Tulip Street Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the service.
