GREENWOOD – William Thomas Taylor, 41, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at his residence.

Born September 11, 1983, in Bedford, he was the son of Terry Lee and Marilyn Sue (Terry) Taylor.

William worked in construction and also for Vertical Home Health.  He loved tractors and farming.  He was very mechanically minded and liked to repair lawnmowers.  William enjoyed watching NASCAR racing.

Surviving are his partner of twenty years, Donna Woody of Greenwood; step-children, Damond Woody and Dana Woody; step-grandchildren, Calob Barron and Teagan Woody; step-great-grandson, Cooper Barron; and siblings, Terry Rothwell of Carlisle, Kentucky, Tim Albertson of Bedford, and Mark Taylor of Greenwood, Mississippi.

His parents preceded him in death.

Cremation has been chosen.

    You were a fighter Bill. I’m proud of you for fighting the cancer it was a rough road and then it spread everywhere. We were always late to ur appointments lol but it wasn’t my fault🤣🤣maybe once or t it was but we made the best of it. You are with ur mom and dad now and I will see you when I get there.     I remember 1 time we got in trouble by his dad and jumped in the boat they had on pond and went to the middle of the pond so his dad could t reach us .
