BEDFORD- Yvonne Combs, 86, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born March 21, 1937, in Kentucky, she was the daughter of Barney Terrell and Frances E. (Moore) Terrell.

Yvonne was a nursing assistant who worked in home health care. She worked at Older Americans Services Corporation for many years. Yvonne also loved being outside where she would work in her flower beds and garden. She enjoyed going to her church, First Assembly of God, her cats, and cooking.

Surviving are her children; Steve Nash of Bedford, Barbara (Jeff) Edmonson of Bedford, and Tamara Hughes of Bedford; father of children, James Jr. Nash; grandchildren, Heather Richardt, Amanda Lee, Darren Tumey, Tiffany Fanning, Brittany Moore, and Tyler Nash; siblings, Eugene Terrell of Mitchell, Marilyn Durham of Willisburg, Kentucky, Peggy Bishop of Mitchell, Ella Terrell of Birmingham, Alabama, William Terrell of Mitchell, Larry Terrell, Carol Clem of Mitchell, and Ronnie Terrell of Mitchell; and several great grandchildren.

Her parents; siblings, Aldine Terrell and Barney Terrell Jr.; daughter-in-law, Tina Nash; and a husband, Herb Combs, preceded her in death.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00a.m., Friday, September 15, at Mitchell Cemetery with Brother Jim Russell officiating. Burial to follow.

    Grandma was an amazing soul! I loved growing up with Tiffany and having a bonus grandma. She was a sweet and caring person. Never seen her without a smile. I hope I leave a good impression on this world like she did! Love you bunches. RIP you will be missed beyond measure!
