My MaMaw Aileen, Thank you for showing me how to make biscuits with a juice glass and how to make fried potatoes. Thank you for showing me how to crochet and make doll clothes. Thank you for teaching me how to play Gin Rummy and work a garden to grow. Thank you for letting me play in your pool, can green beans and jam, and bottle-feed calves. Thank you for telling me stories about how you met PaPaw and how handsome he looked in his uniform. Thank you for loving me. I have always loved you, but I do not think you knew. Now you are an angel talking in my mind, saying all of the things you always used to say. Talking like a talker. Just like me. Just like Dad. You always have a lot to say. You gave us that gift. It is in our DNA. We us three know how to talk everyone's ears off, and this we will always do. It will be with those that know us best and those that love us true enough to hear our hearts. I was always listening and hanging on to every word you said. Now, we can chat when the wind chimes blow and the crickets chirp. I can hear your voice in the rain. You are loved. I promise I will never forget you for as long as I live. Thank you for teaching me all of the things that you did. I will always be grateful for having you in my life and the love that you gave. There seems to be so little time and love in this modern life to just truly live and give. At least you gave me this little bit. Keep talking to us from the stars and in the wind. 98 years of being just beautiful and amazing is a great way to live...

Grandma, may you be surrounded by a bed of roses, and we will send you away with the words of a love song. You will always be remembered. You will always be cherished. You will be beautiful, forever. You lived a long life. Now you can rest in peace and enveloped in love. This song reminds me of you. You will always be a rainbow in my eyes. “Lord, make me a rainbow, I'll shine down on my family. They will know I'm safe with you when they stand under my colors. The ballad of a dove. Go with peace and love.”- The Band Perry

She is in the rain when it pitter-patters. She is the wind when it blows into a melody on wind chimes on your porch. She is the crickets chirping in the fields. She is the waves of grain in the shining sunset that gently flows. She is the way the fire dances on a torch. She is the stars when they twinkle down on you in the night. She is the budding of a rose. She is the butterflies when they take flight. She is a rainbow shining down on you, letting you know you are safe when you see her colors. She is all of this forevermore. She will always be with you. Because you loved her, and she will never die in your heart and soul. She is everywhere, you are. Love is infinite like that.................................................................................

Praying for peace and comfort during this difficult time Sandy. I only wish I could be there for you my precious sister-in-law. Just know your sweet mama has been in my prayers for weeks and I continue to pray for you. Your mama was a sweet precious lady. I know you will miss her. God doesn't put on us more than we can bear. He is the great Comforter. She is safely home in the arms of the angels.
