MITCHELL – Albert “Albie” Wayne Robertson, 68, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Stonebridge Health Campus.

Born July 22, 1957, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Donald Earl and Betty June (Tolbert) Robertson.  He married Cherie Estelle Kinder Robertson on November 17, 2015 and she preceded him in death January 24, 2025.

Albie was a 1975 graduate of Mitchell High School.  He retired as a foreman at Indiana Limestone.  He enjoyed traveling; especially to Arizona.  He liked gold prospecting and riding motorcycles.

Surviving are his brothers, Larry Robertson of Fayetteville, Jerry (Betsy) Robertson of Bedford, and Donald (Joyce) Robertson of Mitchell; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

His parents; wife; brother, Amel Dee Robertson; and sister-in-law, Patty Robertson, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.  Cremation has been chosen.
