MITCHELL Allan W. “Al” Johnson, Sr., 57, Mitchell, formerly of Jacksonville, New Jersey, passed away at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Bloomington Hospital of Orange County, in Paoli following a lengthy illness due to cancer.
Born August 23, 1950, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, he was the son of Edgar and Margaret (Prostler) Johnson. He married Barbara A. Gerber July 22, 1989.
He was a truck driver and had been employed at Bedford Recycling. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9107. He was the owner and driver of a stock car and he enjoyed NASCAR racing.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt, New Jersey. Burial will be in Juliustown Cemetery.
