MITCHELL – Alma Jean Lindley, 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her residence.
Born March 5, 1942, in Paoli, she was the daughter of Harrison and Clara Opal (Walls) Knight.

She never grew “old” as she dressed hip, had stylish haircuts, and knew every current celebrity and element of pop culture. Alma loved all of her family and loved being “Nanny” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Heaven gained “Alma Jean the Queen of Valeene.”
