MITCHELL – Amos Riggs, Jr., 83, Mitchell, passed away at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 9, 1924, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Amos and Frances (Mann) Riggs, Sr.
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, at Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Lewis Williams officiating.
