She genuinely cared for others and wanted to help them. She had the biggest heart, grace and warmth in dealing with others, generosity and a zest for life. Her powerful spirit kept her going well beyond her physical limitations, Marie channeled God's love. That was my dear friend.

I worked with Marie when I was a circulating nurse in surgery at Dunn Hospital. She was an excellent surgical technologist and always so much fun to work with. I’ll always remember her asking me for supplies when she was scrubbed in with that sweet southern drawl !!! Such a wonderful & classy southern belle !!! She was always so proud of her family. My sincere condolences to you all.

Marie was my first sponsor. I still use a lot of her teachings and anecdotes today. She does not know how many life she touched. She was one of the toughest, classiest, most motivated women I know. Even when she didn’t feel well, she was always out there helping others. We will miss you dearly Marie. Terk you are in my prayers! She was a great lady! ❤ 🙏🏼 She will be so missed!
