Papaw was the best. He loved us grandkids and our own babies so much. We’d always make Walmart trips to get Bratz dolls or other toys that we didn’t need. McDonald’s was always in the stop when we went to town. I’ll forever be thankful for the 27.5 years with him. I’ve learned a lot from him and I’ll cherish every moment ❤

I will always remember him sitting in his chair at the kitchen table with his flannel coat on cigarette in one hand coffee in the other watching the news on his tiny black and white tv in the sunroom. That’s were he always say no matter what. Always with a smile and laugh. He never judged you but would give his advice if asked. He was a loving husband to Jean and to all his grandkids he gave all he had. He enjoyed spoiling them with toys, junk food and anything us parents told them no they couldn’t have. Prayers for all the family. I hope you all find peace and hope in each other to get you thru this time. Rest in Peace Tony.

I am sure going to miss you pappaw. I love you forever and always. I will always remember us sitting in your room watching scary movies and gathering around the kerosene lamp while you tell us stories about the little white monster. I will never forget you taking Jalynn and I to watch the new Freddy Krueger in the movies and being so scared and you said it was okay to leave even though I know you wanted to stay and watch it. I will always remember spending the night at the boat with you and mammaw and getting up early to go eat their breakfast. You would always take us to Walmart to buy us all the new Barbie’s that we didn’t need but you wanted us to have. Or the Christmas that I wanted the new in styler hair straightener, but you said it may be too expensive yet that was the gift that you got me that year. You loved your family so so much and you made sure to always show how much you love them. Rest easy Pappaw you will truly be missed.

I will always remember the summer that I spent in Florida with Tony and Jean. I was going to have to get bussed to school and everyone else was going to be able to walk because I was starting junior high. I wrote my grandparents a letter to come and get me and they drove to Florida. But that whole summer I got to spend time with Uncle Tony and Aunt Jean and my cousins 💞

I remember when I was a little kid.Me,Troy, and Jeff was playing hide and seek.I was in a big tree hiding,in front of Mamaw, and Papaws house.I fell out of the tree.It knocked the wind out of me.Tony and Jean were in the house.Tony came out and shook the wind back into me.Tony probably saved my life.If he was not there,I may have not survived.I will forever remember that, and be greatful.

My favorite memories of papaw are when he would being me lunch to school almost every week and him and mamaw would sit in the cafeteria with me and eat there with me. I also loved watching scary movies with him and listening to his “haunted” stories

I will forever miss you Papaw! I will miss the stories of the little white monster. The Mc Donald’s trips. The junk food drawer. Driving around for hours looking for my shirt I wanted and Hannah’s costume that she wanted. All the Holiday World trips. Getting off the bus and running down the alley to get to you and Mamaw! Make sure you look for bub up there Papaw! I love you . This isn’t a goodbye this is until we meet again papaw . I will continue to make you proud I promise!
