MITCHELL – Barry Eugene Elliott, 65, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born June 28, 1956, in Bedford, he was the son of Glenn and Mary Ruth (Williams) Elliott.  He married Rosemary (­­Miles) Elliott June 24, 1989.

Barry retired from Cook Medical and was also a funeral director.  He was of the Christian faith.

Surviving:        wife, Rosemary Elliott of Mitchell  

                      daughter, Stephanie (Elliott) (George) Hicks of Elizabeth

                        son, Joe (Emily) Chapman of Bedford

              grandchildren, Devin Hicks, Jaxon Chapman, Skylar Chapman, Melissa Chapman, Robert Chapman, and

Kacie Chapman

            great-grandson, Cade Gee

His parents and son, Ron Chapman, preceded him in death.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 27, at Beech Grove Cemetery with Pastor Jeffrey Kelley officiating.
