MITCHELL – Beth Hardman, 78, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born January 25, 1941, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Fred and Marie (Johnson) Hardman.

Beth retired from Eastern Airlines and enjoyed traveling.  She was a life member of Jacob Finger United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, at Jacob Finger United Methodist Church with Pastor Ed Fisher officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

    Beth was my cousin, I am so glad I got to see her in September during a visit to Indiana. She came to live with my family in Alexandria when she first started working for Eastern Airlines. We had such good times when she lived with us. So sorry that I could not make it to the service.

    To Beth's family, Tom and I send our sincere condolences for her passing. What a blessing that she had the love of her son and family for the last 10 years and they were surely blessed, too. I have known Beth since August 1955 when my family moved to Mitchell. IN and immediately met the Hardman's when we all went to the Jacob Finger United Methodist church. We remained friends and kept in touch. We know she's in heaven with her parents and is no longer ill. Praise the Lord! God Bless You All, Sharon and Tom Major
