MITCHELL – Betty Ruth King, 73, Mitchell, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006, at Dunn Memorial Hospital, Bedford.
Born March 15, 1933, in Allies, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Carl and Bertha (Poynter) Knox. She married Merrill E. King June 6, 1952.
She was co-owner of King’s Automotive and a 1952 graduate of Mitchell High School. She was a member of Woodville Baptist Church and Spring Mill Stitchers.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Hamer officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
