SHOALSBilly J. McLaughlin, 78, Shoals, passed away at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Bedford Regional Medical Center.
Born March 31, 1929, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Bill and Maggie (Collins) McLaughlin. He married Margie Tincher and she preceded him in death in 1997.
He was a block mason.

His parents; wife; brother, Kenny McLaughlin; and half-sister, Frances Fox, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Crawford Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Baker officiating.
