MITCHELL – Bonnie Marie Cook, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born September 18, 1935, in Eubank, Kentucky, she was the daughter of James Marcus and Aggie Mae (Wilson) Elliott.  She married Henry Oscar Cook on June 28, 1961 and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2013.

Bonnie was a homemaker and volunteered at Charity Chapel for several years. She was a 1953 graduate of Mitchell High School. Bonnie was a Christian that loved her family and lived her life for God.

Survivors include her daughter, Rebekah “Becky” (Brian) Tolbert of Williams; granddaughter, Whitley Nicole (Tyler) Bostock of Williams; and great grandson, Hudson Bostock.

Her parents; husband; and siblings, James Elliott, Jack Elliott, Glenn Elliott, and Edna McQueen preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Sister Becky Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Monday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
