Brett asked me to the Valentine’s dance when I was a freshman, I went with him he drove his corvette and brought flowers and a box of chocolates, he was a class act and a true gentleman! So sorry for your loss to his girls!!🌟❤

Many years ago I answered an ad posted on the message board of a now long since closed music store in Oolitic, Indiana. Brett, was looking for someone to play some music with, and I decided to call him. He was living there in Mitchell with his parents and I wondered how they would react to a couple of musicians making a racket. Well, they loved it! I was/am a multi-instrumentalists, a singer and a songwriter. Brett sat behind the drums and I played bass and sang. It was the 80s, so we had a lot of great songs to choose from. We played a lot of 70s music as well. We drifted apart after a few years. I, moving on further chasing a music career, and life just getting in the way of my dreams as it does everyone's. I often wondered what became of him. I saw him a few times passing by in Mitchell, but never got him waved down. I've never been a big fan of social media, so... I am saddened to hear the news that he's passed on. He was a kind soul. A talented musician and our few years of playing music has always stayed with me. I offer my condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace my friend. I'll spin a few songs for you in remembrance of older times when we were younger, and we had the world by the tail. "Go rest high..."

Wow. I’m in shock. We grew up together and spent many years going to each other‘s houses to play basketball, football, tennis. They had a swimming pool at the time and we got to swim together. We lived across the highway and through the field from each other. He was always fun to be around. He will definitely be missed by everyone who knew him. Prayers for the family in this time of need
