When I first moved to Mitchell back in 2019 I became good friends with Brian’s son Hayden. Brian was then my football coach that following year and he helped at Lehigh ball fields where I umpired there. I quickly became close to Brian he was like a dad to me. He always was there for me and helped me on and off the field when I needed him. My favorite memories with Brian were all the fun times we had goofing off at the ballfields in the back by the garage. I will forever hold those memories! Until we meet again coach.

We are so sorry for your loss ! Although our family did not know Coach Chilton long,he will forever be in our hearts. In the short time we knew him, we got to see what a wonderful man he was. Being part of the Blue Jackets family has been such an honor, and games in the future will not be the same without him. My husband (Coach Armstrong) and my daughter (Manager) had the honor of being with him on the field and he will be missed dearly !
