MITCHELL — Camden Makayla Powell, 15, passed away September 22, 2021, at her residence.
Born September 11, 2006, in Clinton, she was the daughter of Justin Michael and Jennifer Marie (Bowling) Carpenter.
Camden was a freshman at Mitchell High School and a member of the basketball and track teams. She was independent from an early age and was adventurous and out-going. Camden was funny, very creative, had a beautiful smile, and was a beautiful soul.

Her brother, Justin Carpenter, and maternal grandfather, Todd Bowling, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, at Mitchell Cemetery with Pastor Steve Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
To celebrate the life of Camden, the family requests that anyone who has a picture with her to print it off, write a memory on the back of it, and it will be collected during visitation.
