BEDFORD – Charles Duane Allen, 64, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, at his residence.

Born September 6, 1955, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Paul G. and Orpha (Kimble) Allen.  He married Martha Ann (Fox) Krenke-Allen October 28, 2010.

Charles was employed in the parts department at Mullis CarQuest Auto Parts.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge No. 654, and loved singing and playing music.  Charles was a great husband, father, and mechanic.  He loved his best friend, his dog Willie.  Charles was a 1973 graduate of Mitchell High School.

Martha Ann Krenke-Allen of Bedford
stepchildren, Jeffrey, Brooke, and Annie
two stepchildren from a previous marriage
several grandchildren and great grandchildren
sisters,
Paula Carpenter of Whiteland
Joyce K. Speer, of Roy, Utah

His parents; brother, Richard G. Allen; and sister, Brenda L. Curry, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.   Monday, June 22, at Chastain Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Cremation will follow.
