MITCHELL – Charles Elmer Randolph, 77, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, at Springs Valley Meadows.

Born June 15, 1947, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Arlis Logan and Imogene (Baringer) Randolph.  He married Bettina Rose Jaggers on April 21, 1967 and she preceded him in death December 17, 2016.

Charles retired as a forklift operator at Otis Elevator.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post No. 250.  Charles loved racing and going to the casino.

Surviving are his daughter, Jodi Randolph of Orleans; grandchildren, Cheyanna, D.J., Lacie, and Alicea; several great-grandchildren; and siblings, Anita Arlene Davis of East Oolitic, Arlis Duane Randolph of Mitchell, Debbie Henson of Oolitic, Sheila Randolph of Indianapolis, Denise Ritchison of Mitchell, and Brian Randolph of Mitchell.

His parents; wife; children, Darren Randolph, Jason Wyatt Randolph, and Dena LeKay Randolph; and brother, Ernie Randolph, preceded him in death.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, at Mitchell Cemetery.

    Charles.was my cousin.. He was was lalways sweet and kind to me. Life was easy on.him. I love to here him laugh.. I know losing his children, was hard on Tina and him. When he loss Tina, his heart was broken. We seen him a lot when he worked Bedford trash. It was alway good to see him. I am sorry I can't be there I am Istruggling to walk. I send my love to the family and prayers. Sorry about your loss to his sister Arlene, and her husband Denny Davis .& family. Love Rita and Jack Taylor.
