TILLAMOOK, OREGON – Charles Henry Boone, 73, formerly of Mitchell, passed away September 14, 2014, in Kerrville, Texas.
He was born July 2, 1941, in Lawrence County to Herbert and Lillian M. (McIntire) Boone. He married Nancy Johnson and she preceded him in death February 7, 2002.
He was an accountant and a 1959 graduate of Mitchell High School. Charles was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers, Robert Boone and Kenny Boone.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 4, at Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
