ORLEANS Charlotte Ann Hawk, 72, Orleans, passed away at 10:45 a.m.
Monday, May 21, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born November 19, 1934, in Orleans, she was the daughter of John Francis and Hazel Marie (Kellams) Hackney.
She was a surgical technician at Orange County Hospital, then later worked at Paoli Convalescent Center. Many people knew her from the care she gave them at the hospital and convalescent center. She was gifted musically and entertained her family and friends with her fine singing voice for decades. Her family always came first.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harley, Dan, and Gene Hackney; a sister, Evelyn Faubion; and a granddaughter, Sarah Dawn Roach.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, at the Butternut Grove Shelter House at Spring Mill State Park. Friends are welcome to attend.
