MITCHELL – Chelsea Elane Cooper, 27, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019, in Mitchell.

Born January 1, 1992, in Bedford, she was the daughter of David Michael and Cathy Ann (Lane) Cooper.

Chelsea was employed at Living Well Home Care.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Glenn Hamer officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

    I am, or was Chelsea’s next-door neighbor on S. 8th St. I only learned of her passing yesterday, 18 May. I wanted to express my condolences for your extreme loss. She and I only spoke very briefly, so I never really got to know her. I did know her little boy, Kyson a bit better. I think my yard was his and his little friend’s favorite place to play. And I didn’t mind at all. They both seemed like good boys. I’ve thought about Kyson and his little sister in the day since I learned of Chelsea‘s passing. Oh I’m sure they’ll have the love and support of grandparents and other relatives. Please know that my prayers are with those two little ones, and with Chelsea as she passes into the next life, and also with all of you who loved her. God be with you all.
