MITCHELLChristena June Troxel, 89, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Ascension St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford after a brief battle with cancer.

Born July 23, 1931, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Otto and Beulah (Mundy) Pridemore.  She married Porter Troxel February 16, 1957, and he preceded her in death October 8, 2012.

Christena had been employed at Roberts Brass, Carpenter Body Works, and owned Chris’s Ceramics.  Chris loved flowers and was a member of the Happy Travelers.

Tammie (Eddie) Wray of Bedford
Robin Nuzum of Bradenton, Florida
grandchildren,
Billy Doss, Jeromy Pearson, Bobbi Jo Nuzum, Daniel Wray and Shannon Wray
several great grandchildren

Her parents; husband; and brothers, Noble Johnson, Vernon Johnson, and Bill Pridemore, preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, at Mitchell Cemetery with Brother Jerry Allen officiating.
