CAMPBELLSBURG – Clifford Leon Pruett, 47, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021, at his residence.
Born November 29, 1973, in Salem, he was the son of Clifford Laverne and Sharon Louise (Green) Pruett. He married Lisa Dawn Grogan July 3, 2002.
Clifford has been employed at GKN, was a 1992 graduate of Orleans High School, and a member of Lost River Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his kids and grandkids, and making people laugh.
Clifford was a U. S. Navy veteran and a member of American Legion Post No. 250 and the Honor Guard.

His father, Clifford Laverne Pruett, grandson, Kyler; nephew, Rexy Pruett; great nephew, Baby Rexy Pruett; and mother-in-law, Norma Allbright, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Cook officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family requests that masks be worn.
